Onboarding Wizard¶
The onboarding wizard guides you through the first steps after installation: creating your first hosting package, provisioning your first customer with a subscription, or — as an alternative — importing existing data from another panel, or connecting additional servers.
Admin-only: Sidebar → System → Getting Started.
Not to be confused with the setup wizard
The one-time setup wizard during installation (database, admin account) is a separate step — see First Login. The onboarding wizard runs afterwards, inside the panel, and can be reopened at any time.
Progress Overview¶
On open, the page shows a checklist with four items. A completed item is marked green and no longer clickable; an open item jumps directly to the matching step when clicked.
| Item | Marked done when … |
|---|---|
| Hosting package created | at least one hosting package exists |
| First customer created | at least one customer exists |
| First subscription provisioned | at least one subscription exists |
| Additional server added | at least one additional, active server is connected |
Once a package, a customer and a subscription all exist, the page also shows "Congratulations! All basics are set up." The additional server does not factor into this overall message — multi-server operation is optional.
The Three Entry Paths¶
Below the checklist, the page offers three cards to choose from:
Start Hosting¶
Walks through your own initial setup in two steps (see below).
Migrate from Plesk/Enhance¶
Jumps directly to Import of existing customers and websites from another panel.
Add Server¶
Jumps to Server Management to connect additional servers for web, mail, DNS or backup.
Path "Start Hosting"¶
Two steps, guided by a progress indicator (Package → Customer + Domain → Done).
Step 1: Package¶
If at least one hosting package already exists, the page shows that as a hint ("N package(s) exist — you can continue.") and you can jump straight to step 2.
If none exists yet, create one right here:
| Field | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Package Name | Starter | Name of the new package |
| Storage (MB) | 5120 | Disk quota |
| Websites | 5 | Maximum number of websites |
| Domains | 10 | Maximum number of domains |
| Databases | 5 | Maximum number of databases |
| Mailboxes | 10 | Maximum number of mailboxes |
| FTP | 5 | Maximum number of FTP accounts |
All permissions enabled
The package created here automatically enables all standard permissions (domains, subdomains, databases, mailboxes, forwarders, FTP, cron jobs, DNS, backup, SSL, file manager, phpMyAdmin, webmail). For a more finely tuned package, use Hosting Packages directly.
Step 2: Customer + Domain¶
Creates a customer and a subscription in one step. The system then automatically provisions: a Linux user, Nginx vhost, PHP-FPM, DNS zone, FTP account and SSL.
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| First Name | Yes | |
| Last Name | Yes | |
| Yes | Customer's login email | |
| Domain | No | Main domain; without one, provisioning happens without a domain |
| Package | Yes | Hosting package to assign |
Step 3: Done¶
Shows the automatically generated credentials, ready to copy (domain, panel password, FTP password — depending on what was provisioned). From here:
- Add Another Customer — jumps back to step 2 to immediately create the next customer
- Go to Dashboard — leaves the wizard
Reopening¶
The wizard can be reopened at any time from the sidebar — even after every checklist item is done, for example to create another customer through the guided flow instead of the regular customer/subscription management.
