Notifications¶
The panel gathers all important events in one central notification center. Instead of scattered emails, you see in one place what needs attention – for example a failed backup, a soon-to-expire certificate, a resource limit that's been reached, or a vulnerability that's been found.
The bell in the header¶
At the top right you'll find the bell icon 🔔. A number on it shows how many unread notifications you have.
- Click it to open a quick overview of the latest messages.
- A coloured dot indicates urgency: blue = info, yellow = warning, red = critical.
- Mark as read: click a message – unread ones are highlighted. Use Mark all read to clear the count at once.
- Messages with a target (e.g. "Resource usage") are clickable and take you straight to the relevant page.
View all¶
View all at the bottom of the bell menu opens the full overview. There you can:
- filter between All and Unread,
- browse the entire history,
- delete individual messages or mark all as read.
Also by email¶
Depending on your provider's configuration, important events also reach you by email. The notification center and emails complement each other: the bell is your history inside the panel, while email reaches you even when you're not logged in.
Don't miss anything
Check the bell regularly – critical messages (red) such as a failed backup or an expired certificate should be dealt with promptly.
