Reseller Plans

Reseller plans define the resource pool and feature permissions a reseller may pass on to their own customers. Each reseller is assigned to exactly one plan — assignment happens in Reseller Management.

Admin-only: Sidebar → Administration → Reseller Plans.

Overview

The plan list shows each plan's key pool limits, its storage pool, and whether overselling is allowed.

Displayed Columns

Column Description
Name Plan name
Pool Limits Customers, subscriptions, sites, containers, domains, databases, mails
Disk Pool Storage pool in MB (green = unlimited)
Overselling Yes/No

Create Plan

Click Create Plan. The form is divided into four tabs.

Tab: Resource Pool

Aggregated limits across all of the reseller's customers combined — not per individual customer. 0 means unlimited everywhere.

Field Description
Customers Maximum number of the reseller's customers
Subscriptions Maximum number of subscriptions in total
Storage Pool (MB) Disk quota across all customers
Sites Maximum number of websites in total
Containers Container pool across all customers (Docker hosting)
Domains Maximum number of domains
Subdomains Maximum number of subdomains
MySQL/MariaDB databases Maximum number of MariaDB databases
PostgreSQL databases Maximum number of PostgreSQL databases
Mailboxes Maximum number of email mailboxes
Max Mailbox Size (MB) Maximum size per mailbox
Domain Aliases Maximum number of domain aliases
FTP Accounts Maximum number of FTP accounts
Cron Jobs Maximum number of cron jobs
Backup Versions Maximum number of retained backups

Unlimited Resources

A value of 0 means "unlimited" for all pool limits.

Tab: Feature Flags

Controls which features the reseller may offer at all in their own hosting packages. If a feature is disabled here, the reseller cannot enable it in any of their packages — the plan is a ceiling, not a default.

Hosting:

Field Description
DNS Management Reseller may offer DNS access in their own packages
Backup Reseller may offer the backup feature
SSL Management Reseller may offer SSL management
SSH Access Reseller may offer SSH access
CGI Scripts Reseller may allow CGI scripts
Cron Jobs Reseller may allow cron jobs
File Manager Reseller may offer file manager access
View Logs Reseller may offer log access
Manage spam filter Reseller may offer spam filter management
Password-protected directories Reseller may offer .htpasswd protection
Web statistics Reseller may offer visitor statistics
Website staging Reseller may allow staging environments
Custom backup target Reseller may offer custom backup targets

Named Backup Storage Pools — this section only appears if at least one enabled storage target exists under Settings → Backup:

Field Description
Allowed storage pools Multi-select of the named storage pools the reseller may offer their customers for provider-storage backups

Empty does NOT mean all here

Unlike extensions and PHP versions, an empty selection for storage pools means none — the reseller may only offer their customers the default S3/FTP pair. A plan must explicitly opt in before its packages may use any named target at all.

Email:

Field Description
Email Service Reseller may offer the mail service in their own packages
Webmail Reseller may offer webmail access
Max Emails/Hour (Limit) Ceiling the reseller may set for rate limiting in their own packages (0 = no limit)

PHP & Tools:

Field Description
Change PHP Settings Reseller may expose PHP configuration in their own packages
Select PHP Version Reseller may expose PHP version selection
phpMyAdmin Reseller may offer phpMyAdmin access
Composer Reseller may offer Composer access
Node.js & Python Reseller may offer Node.js/Python access
Allowed PHP Versions Comma-separated list (e.g. 8.2,8.3,8.4); empty = all installed versions allowed

Toolkits & Extensions:

Field Description
WordPress Toolkit Reseller may offer the WordPress Toolkit
Joomla Toolkit Reseller may offer the Joomla Toolkit
Container Hosting (Docker) Reseller may offer container hosting
Uptime Monitor Reseller may offer the uptime monitor
Groupware (SOGo) Reseller may offer groupware access (CalDAV/CardDAV)

Tab: Extensions

Field Description
Allowed extensions Multi-select of installed extensions the reseller may enable in their own packages

Empty = all

Unlike storage pools, an empty selection here means every installed extension is allowed.

Tab: Policies

Reseller Permissions:

Field Description
Create Own Packages Reseller may create their own hosting packages
Allow Overselling Reseller can allocate more resources to their customers than their own pool provides

Overuse Policy — behavior when the reseller reaches their pool limit:

Value Behavior
Block Reseller is suspended
Notify Notification only, no suspension
Allow No action

Edit Plan

  1. Click the Edit icon in the action column
  2. Change the desired values
  3. Click Save

Plans with assigned resellers

A plan cannot be deleted while at least one reseller is assigned to it. Move affected resellers to another plan first.

Assign Plan

Plan assignment happens in Reseller Management — either in the dropdown at creation, or afterwards via Edit Reseller.
